Dobsonfly Design
The name, Dobsonfly Design, was born at the height of the internet boom when design firms had unusual names like Razorfish or Motivo. The original logo included a detailed anatomical drawing of a dobsonfly. Eventually, the drawing was streamlined into a more electronic-friendly, iconic representation of a dobsonfly. The text in the logo used and overlaid, outline font to give the impression of movement.

Challenges:
The original anatomical drawing was rich in detail...until it was scaled down. To provide a more icon-friendly design, a streamlined outline of the original drawing was used.
